Fundraising

Valley Save-A-Pet was established in 1976.  Since that time we have worked tirelessly to provide shelter, health care, and a future filled with love for the dogs and cats we have rescued.  We are a totally volunteer organization which depends on contributions from the general public and fundraising efforts by our members to meet our operating budget.

One ongoing source of income is The Purr-fect Place, our resale store, which is stocked entirely by donations of new and used items including home décor, collectibles, seasonal goods, antiques and miscellaneous items.   The store is operated entirely by volunteers and all profits go to help the animals we rescue.  The store is located at:

To make a donation to the store, please call 440-232-9124 Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Another continuing fundraiser is our red and yellow dog house donation boxes placed in local businesses.  Volunteers periodically collect these donations and all the money goes directly to our operating budget.

An annual raffle of cash prizes provides additional revenue to fund the operating budget.

Memberships of $15 for single and $30 for family annually include a quarterly newsletter and opportunities for volunteer service.

An annual appeal for financial support is also sent to all members.
